Open Studio time? Ok Ok, yes we are SLAMMED busy with end of the year workshops, courses, finishing up orders and building stock for the event mentioned above, but we make time for you to finish-up your gifts & goodies! Thursday mid-afternoon/evening from now until December 21st 3pm to 9:30pm. $75 via eTransfer or cash at the studio. xox

Ring band workshops

Sterling silver Ring band workshop $88pp   Saturday afternoon, Dec 16th noon-3pm

Learn how to properly measure your finger(s), layout your pattern and hand cut, form, forge a sterling silver ring band! Demonstrations on adding textures via hammers, stamping tools, and Rolling Mill add inspiration. Finishing techniques; brush, satin, rustic and high mirror polish and leave the workshop with a beautiful sterling silver ring or set of 3 thin stacking rings*!

Participants learn how to hand saw, add texture, form, solder and finish their rings in this super fun workshop! All materials included. Sterling silver for 1 wide band ring or sterling silver for 3 stacking rings, or a combination of sterling copper and bronze for stacking rings.

Looking for artists/crafters interested in sharing the 322 Harbord Studio space September thru January 2017 (possibly longer) $1100 – Utilities included. Rent includes use of tools and equipment, 24/7 access. Or pay the total of $4500 and make it your own space*! Ikea shelving units optional. 510 square foot storefront with partially finished basement (main floor approx 300sqft). Washroom, upstairs sink, two hose hook-ups. Willing to rent out as a Holiday pop-up for $900 (Dec 1-31st)

Please note that Open Studio time, studio rental, etc., has been updated to reflect rent increases.
The studio will be closed Feb and April/May 2015. That said, I am currently looking for interested parties/people to keep the studio open/available for OS time while I am away 🙂
The studio is also available to rent during this time.

Work with metal + glass

5 spaces for working on your jewelry related projects using metal, beads, stones, etc.
1 table with rolling mill, anvils, , bench shear, stamps, vice. This table is used for forming.
Separate soldering/buffing-polishing area.

4 kilns for fusing, casting glass projects


Open Studio time is booked by individual appointment. OS Bench hours are generally held on Thursday afternoon/evenings; noon – 10pm by booked appt.
January 2015 Open Studio hours are booked by appointment.
February 2015 the studio will be closed.
March OS hours may be booked in advance.
April-May 2015 the studio will be closed.

Interested in holding a private workshop, exhibit, pop-up at nanopod: Hybrid Studio? Studio receives 25% of ticket/class sales, with a minimum of 70/100% class capacity. Exhibits/pop-up’s, please email to discuss details.

Private workshop access includes table and chairs for up to 12 participants

(Vendor brings in own materials/equipment).

Full studio rental time with kiln access, soldering equipment, metal working equipment requires an extra deposit.

$15 per hour / 1 hour minimum [does not include instruction or materials/expendables]
