The focus for this event will be on topics related to the Goethe Institute Montreal’s ongoing project New Nature, between contemporary artists, filmmakers, immersive and VR creators, technologists, and climate scientists.
Presentations by Tamiko Thiel (DE) and Tosca Terán (CA). Including a live Midnight Mushroom Music performance streamed in VR by Nanotopia/Tosca Terán.
More about the event: After two successful events in June and October, this third meeting is all about art and immersive technologies. The invited speakers are participating experts from New Nature. In their work they use complex biological, interspecies and computer-based systems to question our relationship to the natural world.
